摘要 The invention relates to a process and an installation for recovering hydrogen and carbon dioxide from the gas residues resulting from the acetylene preparation process. According to the invention, the process consists in preheating the gas residue on the basis of the process heat, in a heat exchanger (1), in order to increase the efficiency of the separation process, hydrogenating it in two steps, in catalyst reactors (2 and 4), mixing it with low pressure water vapours in a controlled ratio, preheating again in two steps using two gas preheaters (5 and 6), on the base of the process heat, then performing a conversion of the carbon oxide into carbon dioxide, in two steps, in catalyst reactors (7 and 8), with stage heat recovery, a discharge of the resulting condensation water followed by a gas compression and a first separation of hydroxid, thereby resulting two fractions, one of them rich in hydrogen and the other containing gases with carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons, which are then passed to a second carbon dioxide separation unit, to a molecular sieve unit (14), thereby resulting carbon dioxide having a concentration of at least 80% and fuel gases having a caloric power of at least 3,500kcal/Nm3.
