PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer user limiting system connected to a network with a terminal device and capable of suitably limiting a printing request from the terminal device for each user. SOLUTION: In a network system, the user selects a printer device to output on a client computer and a parameter such as a name of the user is obtained, to make inquiry on printability to a user limit server. In the user limiting server, the name of the user transmitted is made to be a key and the printability is determined, by referring to a user control table. When the name of the user is registered, an addition request for access right of the client computer is made, with respect to a designated printer device and an IP address, where the printer device is requested to be added to an access control list is added. The client computer issues a connection request to the printer device, when the result of the determination of the printability by the user limiting server permits printing. The printer device determines connectability, by checking whether an IP address of the client computer is registered in the access control list. |
