PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for establishing communication between a server application and a client application by which communication paths or these applications can be switched over without terminating communication between the applications. SOLUTION: This invention provides the communication connection establishing method that is used to control a communication system where proxies relaying communication with applications and a network interconnecting them are provided, and when the applications make communication via a communication path passing through two proxies or more, the 1st proxy placed on the communication path switches a 2nd proxy being a connection destination to a 3rd proxy so as to continue the communication in response to a prescribed switching request.
