<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diagnosing the failure in an electric water heater for specifying the failed part of configuration equipment and for automatically displaying the failed part on the screen of a remote operator's panel. SOLUTION: The method for diagnosing the failure in the electric water heater 10 for specifying the failed part of corresponding equipment from the operation failure of the electric water heater 10 that supplies hot water to a bathtub automatically comprises a means for detecting the temperature, pressure, flow rate, and the amount of hot water in a tank 11 constituting the electric water heater 10, a pipeline 22, and the bathtub 25 and for storing the detected information, a means for judging operation failure from the detected information and for specifying failed equipment, and a means for displaying the identification code of the failed equipment that has been stored in advance on the screen of a remote control panel 27.</p> |
