PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for modifying rolling in a DOT shield capable of reliably correcting rolling without being affected by the hardness of the ground of a tunnel or rotating a segment. SOLUTION: For modifying rolling in the DOT shield 5, a weight 57 is arranged at the eccentric location of the DOT shield 5. Angular moment in the circumferential direction of the DOT shield 5 is generated by the weight 57, and the entire rolling or part of it is offset by the angular moment.
