PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device for measuring the amount of wear in wheel bearings suitable for measuring the amount of wear in the wheel bearings of facilities scattered at a large number of locations and capable of easily performing measurements. SOLUTION: The device for measuring the amount of wheel bearings is composed of a vertical member 11, an upper contact plate 12 fastened to the upper end of the vertical member, a lower contact plate 14 provided in such a way as to be vertically moved and fixed along the vertical member, and an inclinometer 16 mounted onto the upper contact plate.
