PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the connection structure of a steel pipe pile, offering simple construction requiring no site welding, having great strength and permitting the positive and reverse rotation of the pile. SOLUTION: The connection structure comprises a female cylinder 10 and a male cylinder 20 each having a press-bonded end face in the direction of a pile axis, the female cylinder 10 having a plurality of inner face protrusions 13 arranged in a circumferential direction in mutually spaced relation, with their inner diameters loosely fitted to the outer periphery face of the male cylinder and the male cylinder 20 having a plurality of outer face protrusions 23 with their outer diameters loosely fitted to the inner periphery face 12 of the female cylinder 10, the male and female cylinders being connected and fixed at their tapers on the corner side end faces of the inner face protrusions and the outer face protrusions, respectively.
