PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly and inexpensively manufacturing a steel sheet pile with a joint part compatibly featuring steel sheet pile placement ability, joint separation resistance and water tightness at high levels. SOLUTION: The dimension of the joint part 2 is determined so that the ratio (Nt/K) of a thickness Nt to an opening width K of the joint part 2 provided at the end is within 0.65-0.85. The steel sheet pile 1, when manufactured, comprises the joint part 2 satisfied with this dimension.
