PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope crib revetment construction method capable of forming a environment-friendly revetment because it is not formed by concrete or iron plate, but thinnings are used, and enabling simple and sure assembling work because thinnings work into a fixed form are used. SOLUTION: According to the slope crib revetment construction method using thinnings, an engagement groove having a U-shaped section is formed in the central cross direction in a thinning of a fixed length used in the slope crib, butt end is machined in the longitudinal direction to place overlapping step parts on both end part of the thinnings, anchor bolts are fixed to vertex positions forming a rhombus of the slope of a river, and two thinnings are superposed like a cross with the engagement grooves opposite to each other, and fixed to the anchor bolts. Subsequently, fixing bolts are inserted in bolt insert holes of overlapping step parts of adjacent thinnings positioned in parts corresponding to the sides of the rhombus, both are fastened and connected by nuts, and the above operation is repeated to form a rhombus slope crib. Finally, after the rhombus slope cribs are formed on the whole of the slop of the river, soil is laid in the slope cribs to form the slope of the revetment.
