PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor with a speed reducer, wherein vibration or biased load is prevented from being transmitted to a position sensor through the output shaft. SOLUTION: The motor is installed in a case consisting of a first case half and a second case half. A speed reducer for reducing the rotational output of the motor body is built in the case. The output shaft that takes out the output of the speed reducer is rotatably passed through the case. A position sensor is built in the case by rigidly fastening the sensor onto the output shaft. The position sensor is secured on the second case half with a fixture 10 comprising an annular flanged portion 10a, a cylindrical portion 10b integrally protruded from the inner circumference of the flanged portion 10a, and a top plate portion 10c that closes the tip of the cylindrical portion 10b. The fixture 10 is molded from a resilient metal plate, and a plurality of notches 11 are formed in the outer circumference of the flanged portion 10a. The cylindrical portion 10b and the top plate portion 10c are provided with a flexibility imparting portion 12.
