AROMATIC POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDINGS

An aromatic polycarbonate resin composition which comprises 100 parts by mass of an aromatic polycarbonate resin and 0.001 to 1 parts by mass of another thermoplastic resin having a refractive index which differs from that of the polycarbonate resin by 0.001 or more, and exhibits a ratio (X)/(Y) of 0.5 or more, wherein (X) and (Y) represent light transmittances at wave lengths of 320 nm and 633 nm, respectively, as measured with a sample plate having a thickness of 2 mm. The aromatic polycarbonate resin composition can be used for producing moldings having a transparency comparable to that of acrylic resin moldings for optical use without detriment to the excellent resistance to impact and heat being inherent in a polycarbonate resin.
