By applying this method, the programming method will force students and users to actually read the classics and thereby affect an absolutely accurate educational tool. By providing the classic book, as the user manual, with th e interactive game, educators will now have the important link which bridges n ew technology and the appeal it presents for students, with the actual material on which traditional classic education is based. This process is further distinguished as providing a unique educational value by providing hot links to on-line encyclopedias and resources that will support and facilitate on-line researc h by students, as well as by providing chat rooms that will facilitate on-line study groups. Educators and parents will have the assurance that valued exposure to class ic literature becomes entwined with the use of video and computer interactive games, thereby providing a value and benefit that these kind of games currently lack.
