SOLUTION: Specific output ports among output ports 105-1 to 105-16 of an array waveguide diffraction grating 101 re coupled by optical multiplexer demultiplexers 102-1 to 102-4, the waveguide group of the array waveguide diffraction grating is made to be input ports 103-1 to 103-4, and N waveguides which are bundled by the optical multiplexing and demultiplexing means and arrayed in order are made to be output ports 106-1 to 106-4; and a (p)th input port (p=1, 2, 3...) and a (q)th output port (q=1, 2, 3...) have a relation p+q=N+1. Then transmitters/receivers 108-1 to 108-4 and 109-1 to 109-4 are so arranged that the input and output ports are paired.
