PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a regenerative relay type repeating device that can obtain high stability in a carrier frequency deviation in a digital modulation wave that requires no periodic maintenance and inspection without the need for a highly stable crystal oscillator. SOLUTION: The regenerative relay type repeater that demodulates a received digital modulation wave to regenerate digital data and transmits the regenerated digital data after applying again digital modulation to the data, is characterized in the provision of a clock extract circuit that extracts a clock from a received signal, a PLL circuit that includes a voltage controlled crystal oscillator in its loop and uses the clock extracted from the received signal, a frequency synthesizer that uses an output of the PLL circuit for a reference clock and a modulation section that conducts digital modulation on the basis of an output of the frequency synthesizer. |
