PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the influence of a cross coupling in an acceleration detection-type gyro device of a type which supports a gyro rotor by an electromotive force so as to be levitated. SOLUTION: The acceleration detection-type gyro device is provided with a gyro case, the gyro rotor which is supported at the inside of the gyro case by an electrostatic supporting force in a noncontact manner, an electrostatic supporting electrode to which a control voltage is applied, a rotor drive system which is used to turn the gyro rotor at high speed around a spin axis line, a displacement detection system which is used to sense the displacement of the gyro rotor and a restraint control system which comprises a feedback loop used to correct the control voltage applied to the electrostatic supporting electrode in such a way that the displacement of the gyro rotor becomes zero. The control voltage is composed of a reference voltage V0 and a fluctuation amountΔV, and it is expressed by V0 (1+2ΔV/V0)1/2.
