A method for reducing the water resistance of a floating body by discharging gases having the pressure that is higher than the ambient pressure, into the environmental space backward through the section surrounding the lateral face of the body, characterized in that high-temperature high-pressure gases are used, said gases being further discharged as a jet from the nose in the forward direction of the floating body. 2. The method of claim 1, characterized in that burnt gases produced in the combustion chamber are used for high-temperature high-pressure gases. 3. The method of claim 2, characterized in that the working pressure is above 4 MPa. 4. An apparatus for realizing the method of claim 1 comprising a source of gases having the pressure that is higher than the ambient pressure, said source being provided with an outcome section in the nose part of the floating body in the backward direction and surrounding the lateral face of the body, characterized in that the apparatus is further provided with an outcome section in the nose part of the floating body in the forward direction. 5. An apparatus of claim 4, characterized in that the diameter of the outcome section in the forward direction is not more than the 0.01 diameter of the floating body. |
