The method of continuously transferring power between a smaller rotor around which revolves a ring gear involves both rotor and ring gear possessing a drive and driven surface. The rotor can be displaced in a radial direction in relation to the ring gear. Drive contact between the outer and ring gear wheels is effected by elements which are radially displaceable together with the rotor and which are only partly in drive contact between the outer wheel and ring gear.
