PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image reproduction device that can display a frame image on a display device even on the occurrence of a read error from a hard disk. SOLUTION: The moving image reproduction device 10 of this invention is provided with the hard disk 20, that stores frame images included in a moving image, buffer storage sections 40, 42 that can respectively store frame images read from the hard disk 20 in the unit of frames before sequentially delivering the images to the display device 60, a disk read processing section 30 that sequentially reads each of the frame images from the hard disk 20 and shares the read images to either of the buffer storage sections 40, 42, and a buffer read processing section 50 that sequentially reads the frame images from either of the buffer storage sections 40, 42 to deliver the read frame images to the display device 60.
