PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing motor wherein air bubbles mixed in lubricating fluid are prevented from growing in ring shape for the improvement of the life of the motor. SOLUTION: The dynamic pressure bearing motor comprises a fixing member 122, a rotor 124, a shaft 148 placed in the rotor 124, a support 130 for supporting the shaft 156 of the shaft member 148, radial bearings 150 and 152 for supporting the radial load through the lubricating fluid, and a thrust bearing 154 for supporting the thrust load through the lubricating fluid. The lubricating fluid is filled in the area from one 150 of the radial bearings to the thrust bearing 154 and in the other radial bearing 152. The overhung 160 of the shaft member 148 is provided in the inner face thereof with a flow-in groove for letting the lubricating fluid inward in the radial direction and a flow-out groove 204 for letting the lubricating fluid outward in the radial direction.
