PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to talk via a portable telephone if the telephone is remote. SOLUTION: A transfer unit 400 is removably mounted on a portable telephone 500 and has a signal connecting terminal 410, a receiver 432 and a transmitter 433. A sub-unit 100 is removably attached to the wrist of the user and has a receiver 262, a transmitter 263, a vibration generator 272, an earphone 210 and a microphone 220. The receiver 262 receives a calling signal and voice signals from the transmitter 433 of the transfer unit 400. The vibration generator 272 generates a vibration, based on the calling signal received by the receiver 262, the earphone 210 outputs voice, based on voice signals received by the receiver 262. The transmitter 263 transmits voice signals, based on voice inputted to the microphone 220.
