The invention relates to a linear guide unit (10), comprising a guide housing (12), with a guide cavity (12c), a runner (16) which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction (L) on a guide track (14), a drive device (20) for moving the runner (16) and a profile channel (32) which may be fixed to the guide housing (12) for the mounting of function elements, such as position sensors (30). According to the invention, the profile channel (32) comprises at least one lateral fixing shoulder (32b). Furthermore, the profile channel (32) is in fixed connection with the free end (12b1) of a sidewall (12b) of the guide housing (12) by means of said fixing shoulder (32b).
