PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive television tuner by controlling a tuning frequency of a tuning circuit and a trap frequency of a trap circuit with a signal from a band decoder, so as to simplify the circuitry of the band decoder. CONSTITUTION: A changeover circuit 11 receives a binary band selection voltage from the band decoder 10, a switching voltage outputted from a 2nd terminal 23 changes a tuning frequency of an intermediate frequency tuning circuit 6, a switching voltage outputted from a 3rd terminal 24 changes a trap frequency of a trap circuit 7.
