PURPOSE: Provided is an image tracking device for measuring section of optical fiber which uses image of linear objects to express alignment state of optical fiber in a numerical value so that it minimizes measurement error. CONSTITUTION: The image tracking device for measuring section of optical fiber comprises the parts of: a linear object(65); a light source(61) which radiates light at the linear object; a first converging lens(67) which enters light passed through the linear object into outer circumference to form a first image for the linear object; a second converging lens(70) which converges light passed through the optical fiber(68) to form a second image for the linear object; an image sensor(71) which detects the second image; and a control part(73) which is based on the degree of distortion in the second image to calculate distance between the first image and the center of optical fiber.
