PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is superior in anti-overdischarging characteristic. SOLUTION: Lithium nickel complex oxide is contained as a positive electrode active substance, and when the weight of the lithium nickel complex oxide is A and the weight of the positive electrode active substance except the lithium nickel complex oxide is B, the anti-overdischarge characteristic is improved even in the case that a negative electrode current collector containing Cu is equipped, by combining and using the positive electrode wherein a mixing ratio R expressed as A/(A+B) is in the range not less than 0.2 but not more than 1, together with the negative electrode containing a material whose specific surface area as the negative electrode active substance is in the range not less than 0.05 m2/g and not more than 2 m2/g. |
