SOLUTION: In this merchandise information management system, when the customer buys a book at a book store, the book store side transmits book information including the author of the book, its price, etc., as the digital data of a standard format to the PC of the customer. This system can be applied even in a retail shop of a supermarket, etc., and information on foodstuffs and everyday sundries purchased by a customer is transmitted as digital data to the PC of the customer. |
