<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device facilitating starting on a sloping road and running on an ascent, to be additionally capable of manufacturing in small size in light weight, and capable of switching to all working modes by simple operation, further with stable braking force obtained even under any condition at running time in the rain or the like. SOLUTION: This brake device, which regulates rotation of a brake drum rotated with a rotary shaft of a wheel, is characterized by having a brake shoe acting in an internal peripheral surface of the brake drum for regulating rotation in its both directions and a lock shoe acting in the internal peripheral surface of the brake drum for regulating only rotation in its one direction.</p> |
