<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium reproducer and an exhaust gas treatment unit excellent in recovering a gas desorbed from a medium for reproducing a medium having adsorbing or resolving power for components to be removed, which are contained in gases such as exhaust gas, and yet improved in cost effectiveness and maintainability. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment unit comprises a regeneration tower 120 having a distributor 1, heater 2 connected thereto and a retention part 3 arranged downstream from the same, which retention part 3 is composed of an inner barrel 31 having a hole 31a and an outer barrel 33 arranged thereabout to cover the same. Such structure of the retention part 3 enables desorption gas Gr desorbed therein to be discharged from the entire carbonaceous absorbent A through the hole 31a of the inner barrel 31. As a result, it is possible to improve the discharge efficiency of the desorption gas Gr, attain excellent recovery performance, and yet improve the cost effectiveness and maintainability without using a conventional carrier gas.</p> |
