<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch switch device allowing installation of an optical element in a mounting base board arranged on the back face side of a display device so that the optical element can project and receive detection light traversing immediate front side of a touch panel arranged in front of the display device without using any light guide member. SOLUTION: When the end part of a lead terminal part 12 in a light emitting element 10 is soldered to the mounting base board 3 arranged on the back face side of the display device 1 while the lead terminal part 12 is extended through the lateral side of the display device 1 toward a peripheral part of the touch panel 2a in front of the display device 1, a light emitting element main body part 11 is arranged and supported in the periphery part of the touch panel 2a so as to be set in the position in which the light emitting element main body part 11 can project and receive detection light L traversing immediate front side of the touch panel 2a.</p> |
