PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position exchanging system that a receiver can exactly and easily grasp a position (place) that a sender intends to inform. SOLUTION: A position information exchanging system 1, which exchanges position information 6 including latitude and longtime information 10 and error information 14 incidental to the information 10, is provided. The position information 6 can display a map with the same scale as a map that a sender side 2a selects based on the error information to a receiver side 2b and indicate a point based on the information 10 on the map. Accordingly, the position that the sender side 2a intends to inform can be exactly transferred to the receiver side 2b.
