PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial correction method for video image with which a hard disk of an edit personal computer captures a photographed image, a cut-edit is applied to a part requiring mosaic processing and its surrounding parts in the captured image to extract data, the extracted data are written as movie data of a quick term form subjected to 30 to 60 frames per second correction processing, a mask is generated on the part of mosaic processing to the written movie data, the mosaic effect is applied to the generated mask, rendering is applied to the data by setting the density of the mosaic at the same time, and the movie data subjected to the rendering are arranged as the initial data and outputted again on a video tape as one set of data. SOLUTION: A digital method is introduced to partial correction of a video image, and thus the correction job is subdivided and the corrected part is compressed, so that the surrounding of the corrected part can sharply be expressed as an image.
