A battery charger for a mobile phone is disclosed. The charger has a first connector connected to a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port of various peripheral devices provided with the USB port, a second connector connected to a data communication port of the mobile phone, and a voltage conversion module for converting an input voltage from the first connector to a predetermined voltage level and then supplying the converted voltage through the second connector. A battery of the mobile phone is charged by the output voltage from the second connector.
