PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of all converter stop called a parallel system down which may occur, if the cross current detecting circuit of a converter malfunctions and influences other converters, although cross currents flowing between the converters are detected by cross current detecting circuits and control for minimizing these currents is performed, when the power converters are operated in parallel. SOLUTION: Resistors R14, R24, R34 are connected in parallel respectively with a plurality of current converters 11, 21, 31 which respectively detect the output currents of a plurality of power converters 1, 2, 3 connected in parallel with a load 5. These are connected in parallel with one another, and with respect to each power converter, the difference between the current in the current converter and the current in the resistor is computed by a cross current computing circuit 812, 822, 832. Malfunction detecting circuits 813, 823, 833 which output signals when these differences exceed specified values fixed beforehand, are provided, and the power converters 1, 2, 3 are removed from the parallel connection by these signals. |
