SYSTEM, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR USING CONTENTS, CONTENTS USE APPROVING DEVICE AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user satisfying a prescribed condition to use the contents recorded on a data recording medium. SOLUTION: Plural contents which can be reproduced by a user terminal are previously recorded on a DVD together with each ID of contents. A user selects his/her desired contents stored in the DVD on the user terminal (S11) and inputs his/her own password (S12). The contents ID, the user ID and the password are sent to a center server (S13, S21). The center server checks a viewing condition DB storing each viewing condition of contents (S22) and then checks a user information DB storing the user information (S24). When the contents selected by the user can be viewed in according to those check results, the viewable data are generated (S26) and sent to the user terminal (S28, S14). The use terminal reproduces the contents recorded on the DVD according to the received viewable data (S16).
