<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for efficiently recovering a volatile matter containing high concentration of zinc oxide at a low cost, by which a large quantity of iron-making dust can be treated when the zinc oxide is recovered from the iron-making dust. SOLUTION: The recovering apparatus 1 for zinc oxide from the iron-making dust, is provided with a melting furnace 2, in which the agglomerated iron- making dust 3 is charged and molten iron 7 for heating and reducing iron oxide and the zinc oxide in the iron-making dust is held, and recovering means 22, 23, 24 for recovering the reduced and vaporized zinc as the zinc oxide. The melting furnace is provided with a heating means 17 for plasma-heating and a stirring means 20 for stirring the molten iron, and further, the recovering means are provided with plural dust collectors 23, 24 for collecting the dust step by step from the dust having larger grain diameter.</p> |
