PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material less liable to cause sticking and capable of retaining satisfactory dryability even in rapid processing. SOLUTION: In the silver halide photographic sensitive material with a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer on at least one side of the base, the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer or the non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer contains a matting agent obtained by copolymerizing a nonionic ethylenically unsaturated monomer with an ethylenically unsaturated monomer other than an anionic monomer and the matting agent has <=50 mass% content of particles each having 8-20μm particle diameter. It is also preferable that the matting agent is contained so as to impart 6-40 kPa matting degree and that the total amount of hydrophilic polymers contained in the sensitive material is <=3.5 g/m2 per one face.
