PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the exposure of a support, improve the appearance of the door of a gate and obviate the intrusion of a dog, a cat or the like because the formation of openings among a fence and both side end sections of a door body is averted without changing the constitution of the support, an arm and the door body as the main components of the trap type gate door. SOLUTION: In the trap type gate door using a bracket with a fixed section, which is abutted against the rear of a stile for the door body, to which a setscrew is penetrated and which is fixed onto the stile by screwing the setscrew to a screw receiving member slidably fitted into a flute previously formed to the rear of the stile in the vertical direction, and a shaft supporting section axially supporting the front end section of the arm, the bracket (5N), in which the fixed section 51 and the shaft supporting section 52 are connected integrally by a projecting section 53 separating the shaft supporting section in the central direction of the width of the door body from the fixed section, is used as the bracket.
