The use of quaternized esters (I) of carboxylic acids and optionally alkoxylated amino-alcohols for increasing the stability and effectiveness of cellulase in liquid, especially aqueous laundry detergents is claimed. An Independent claim is also included for liquid, especially aqueous laundry detergents containing cellulase and (I).
