Magnetic field therapy device with additional functions has a magnetic field therapy device (1) contained within a housing (2). The device comprises one or more permanent magnets (9) that are moved using a motor. Induction coils (10) are arranged so that the movement of the magnet generates electrical voltages in the coils which can be used to supply an electrically driven applicator (13) in a dynamo manner. Power for rotation, or a to and fro movement, of the magnet can be supplied by a wind up mechanism to obviate the need for batteries or an external power supply. The additional therapy applicator can be a heat element, radiation lamp, massage head, ultrasound generator, ventilator, etc.
