PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device, where stable performance can be secured, with respect to environmental variations in a constant current control transfer process of an electrophotographic printer. SOLUTION: In the transfer device, stable transfer performance can be secured by having transfer current that is made most appropriate for the environmental variations, energized by installing a semi-conductive member 42, whose resistance is varied according to the variation in the environment in the periphery of a transfer roll 41 constituting a transfer means 4; energizing only the current value that is necessary for transferring between 'transfer roll-paper- photoreceptor'; and energizing excess parts to the semiconductive member 42. |
