<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy saving device for air conditioner which can be installed near the outdoor machine of an air conditioner and can exclude the labor and time required for wiring. SOLUTION: The energy saving device 1 for air conditioner is provided with interfaces which control the outdoor machines 2 of the air conditioner and are provided at every outdoor machine 2. The device 1 controls the turning on/off of the outdoor machines 2 by confirming the states of the machines 2 by means of a central processing section 4 by receiving the operating state signals of the machines 2 by means of an input-output section 3 and outputting control signals to the machines 2 from the input-output section 3 at the timing preset by means of a setting switch 5 under the control of the central processing section 4. The device 1 receives radio waves containing time information by means of a radio wave receiving section 7 and automatically sets and corrects an internal clock 8 by means of the central processing section 4. Therefore, the outdoor machines 2 can be controlled without causing any time lag even when the machines 2 are operated for a long period.</p> |
