<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample temperature controller for an infrared spectrophotometer capable of restraining a loss of an infrared ray caused by a window material, and providing an infrared absorption (reflection) spectrum capable of analyzing accurately a structure change, accompanied with a temperature change, of an organic compound, a polymer, a catalyst, an inorganic compound or the like, in the sample temperature controller comprising a sample temperature controlling part for heating or cooling a sample and a sample chamber having a window used for observation and measurement. SOLUTION: The window of the sample chamber, for heating or cooling the sample, in the sample temperature controller is constituted of the window material which is transparent in a visible ray area, of which the refractive index is 1.6 or less in 10μm of wavelength, of which the solubility is 1 g per 100 g water or less at 30 deg.C, and of which the thickness 1 mm or less.</p> |
