<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality class identification system for a communication network that can identify a quality class of a packet in the case of using a packet processing device that cannot provide an identifier of a request quality class to the packet. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a communication request from packet processing devices 123, 124, a quality class identification device 20 identifies a packet of a communication channel and its quality class based on at least one set of information or over among information with respect to a communication packet received from a communication manager 113, quality class information and request band information to provide a prescribed identifier to the packet. Thus, even when the packet processing devices 123, 124 cannot provide the identifier to the packet, the device 201 can provide the identifier to the packet so as to maintain the communication quality in an excellent state. Moreover, it is possible to provide an inexpensive packet processing device to a user's home.</p> |
