<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tantalum capacitor by which the cost can be reduced by reducing a quantity of tantalum content, as well as a method for manufacturing a tantalum capacitor by which a recycling step for tantalum material is eliminated to improve the manufacturing efficiency. SOLUTION: A lead wire 5 of a tantalum capacitor comprises tantalum 5a and a metallic part 5b made of Ni, etc., other than tantalum, and the tantalum 5a is embedded in a tantalum element 1. In such a tantalum capacitor, the tip end of the metallic part 5b is welded to an aging jig 6, and the tantalum element 1 and the tantalum 5a of the lead wire 5 are dipped in a compound liquid 3 to form a dielectric film thereon. Then, while the tip end of the metallic part 5b is still welded to the aging jig 6, the metallic part 5b alone is separated from the lead wire 5.</p> |
