PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having high white color temperature, without greatly deteriorating brightness. SOLUTION: The distances between separation walls 17 are made different with each other corresponding to the color of phosphor layers 18, 19, 20 (red, green, blue), and provided that the luminous flux of phosphor layers emitting red, green, and blue colors having the same area with each other are la, lb, lc respectively, the color temperature of white color is controlled in a prescribed color temperature, by making the color temperature depending on a×la, b×lb, c×lc (a, b, c are coefficients representing the ratio of distances between separation walls for red, green, and blue colors respectively) 9,000 K or higher, and by making the distance of separation walls for the blue phosphor layer c/b times as large as the distance of separation walls for the green phosphor layer (excepting c/b=1).
