PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens integrated type solid-state image pickup device which is easily assembled and by which an excellent image is obtained by preventing the optical axis center of light made incident on the photodetecting surface of a solid-state image pickup device by passing through an optical lens from being angularly inclined. SOLUTION: When a transparent base plate or one surface (the photodetecting surface) of an optical filter 1 is set as a reference surface, the solid-state image pickup device 2 is mounted facedown on the other surface, and also a lens holder 4 having a recessed part to support a lens 5 is formed by taking the photodetecting surface as the reference surface. The lens 5 is dropped and fixed in the recessed part of the lens holder 4, so that the angular inclination of the optical axis center is easily prevented. |
