<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a jammed sheet member by opening a main transportation route (28) and a subtransportation route (88) as required only by carrying out an operation for moving an opening and closing member (118) from a closed position to an open position without recognizing a region where the sheet member jams by an operator, when the sheet member of an image forming machine having the main transportation route (28) and the subtransportation route (88) jams. SOLUTION: The image forming machine is provided with a connecting means to connect selectively the opening and closing member and a movable member (120) and to displace also the movable member accompanying the movement of opening and closing member, and the connecting means is composed so that the connecting means is selectively set in either of a work state or a non-work state according to the region where the sheet member jams.</p> |
