<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain a range finder which can range a short distance, reduce effects of interference waves and disturbance waves and enhance confidentiality. SOLUTION: There are set a VCO 2 for outputting a frequency modulated transmission signal SS0; a power distributor 3 for distributing the transmission signal SS0 to a transmission signal SS1 and a transmission signal SS2; an adder 5 for executing spreading modulation by multiplying the transmission signal SS1 and a PN code signal SPN; an antenna 8 for transmitting a spreading modulated signal Sm as a beam B to a target to be ranged, and for receiving the beam B reflected from the target as a receiving signal; an adder 9 for multiplying a PN code signal SPN' and the receiving signal Sr; an adder 10 for multiplying a modulated signal Sdm and the transmission signal SS2 and outputting the multiplied result as a distance signal Sd; and an operating part 11 for obtaining a distance between the range finder and the target from the distance signal Sd.</p> |
