PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the digital data storing method/system which keeps the digital data in trust with insurance and can deal with a case by means of the insurance where it is hard to restore the digital data. SOLUTION: An enterpriser 1 presents the insurance conditions of digital data 5 to a client 3 via the Internet 2 and stores the digital data 4 under the approved insurance conditions. When extraction of the data 4 is requested, the stored data 4 are extracted and transferred to the client 3. When the data 4 cannot be transferred to the client 3 in a restorable way, the enterpriser 1 pays the premium to the client 3 under the contracted conditions.
