PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for an electrodeless discharge lamp, which can simultaneously reduce not only high-frequency noise, but also noise from a D.C. power circuit to a control signal wire to prevent radiation of noise to the outside to the utmost. SOLUTION: For the lighting device for an electrodeless discharge lamp, in which a D.C. power circuit 2 including a voltage raising or lowering chopper circuit which generates a D.C. power from an A.C. power, and a high-frequency power circuit 4 which is connected to a last stage of the D.C. power circuit and outputs a high-frequency power for lighting an electrodeless discharge lamp are mounted on a printed substrate 34, the printed substrate 34 is contained in a shield case 25, and a control signal wire 16a is connected to the high-frequency power circuit 4 to control the high-frequency power outputted from the high-frequency power circuit 4, the control signal wire 16a is arranged close to the D.C. power circuit 2 in the shield case 25, and a plurality of high-frequency filters 22, 32 are interposed in the course of the control signal wire 16a. |
