ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel electromagnetic wave element for realizing a much higher resonance frequency and variable phase speed. SOLUTION: This element has a resonance element (1) constituted of a superconductor (12) on a substrate (11) and a dielectric (2) or/and magnetic substance (3) facing the superconductor (12) of this resonance element (1). A resonance frequency or/and a phase speed are varied with a change in an interval between the superconductor (12) and the dielectric (2) or/and magnetic substance (3).
